FAQs

Does the client have to pay for the OCF-18 if it’s declined by the insurer?

No. The client is not charged for the OCF-18 submission, even if the insurer declines the proposed assessment or treatment. We absorb that administrative cost to reduce client stress and maintain accessibility.

Who submits the OCF-18?

We handle that. We are fully FSRA-licensed and HCAI-registered.

How do I refer a client?

Use our referral form, or email us directly at referrals@nbclinic.ca.

For partner clinics, we provide customized referral forms that send automated confirmations and give you access to your own live Google Sheet with real-time updates on all your referrals. We’ll handle the rest — including client intake, booking, and follow-up.

Do you support clients under MIG?

Yes. Our assessments provide detailed clinical rationale to support transitioning clients out of the Minor Injury Guideline when appropriate. We understand what insurers look for and communicate findings clearly.

Can we refer clients just for assessments, or only for treatment?

Absolutely. We work with rehab clinics in whatever way supports their care model. Some partners handle psychotherapy in-house and refer to us only for psychological assessments. Others send clients for treatment only, or for the full assessment + treatment package. We’ll adapt to your clinic’s needs.
